Artist Statement
I make jewelry by hand from sterling silver, using traditional silversmithing techniques. Hammering, rolling or etching silver creates a unique tactile surface that invites touch and storytelling. No two pieces are ever identical; each one has its own story to tell. My casual but sophisticated pieces are designed to be comfortable and flow with your body’s movements.
I’ve always enjoyed the design process, from making my first pair of earrings in a high school art class through my career as an educator designing curriculum and now returning to jewelry making. Wearing jewelry for personal adornment is an individual aesthetic, and I hope that some of my pieces resonate with your style.
