When to submit and update your photos and information…

We will accept missing profile photos anytime for the new website.

The information and photos currently displayed on our website were copied over from the old website. We will accept updated information over the next couple of months and it will be added sometime in early March.

Submit all your information at the same time in one email. Please do not send multiple emails.

Tech Specs for Website Photos

All photos on the website are displayed in square format.

Artist Portrait Photos

We prefer photos of artists working in their studios or on location. We will accept photos of artists posing with their artwork. Feel free to send along a couple of them and we may use them elsewhere on the site as well.

Crop your photo to square.

Size: 8 inch x 8 inch at 300 dpi.

Artwork Photos

Artwork photos look the best when cropped to square for the formatting of the website. Focus in on your favorite part of the piece and crop it. If you choose not to crop to square then put your photo on a white square background. Be aware that the arrangement of your photos on the website will look relatively haphazard if not cropped to square.

The thumbnail photo on the main website homepage must be square. If you do not crop it we will.

You are allowed up to 6 photos of your artwork.

Blog Article Submissions

The blog is for news about tours, events, workshops, member shows, etc. Annette will be managing the blog going forward. If you wish to submit news to the blog, please send along:

  • The text of the article (.docx, pages, or email accepted)

  • Photos for the post (Size: 8 inch x 8 inch at 300 dpi). Please note who the photographer is so we can list photo credits. If the photos are of artwork which has a title, then please include the titles and other relevant info.

  • If the blog post is a reprint of a news article, please include the original link and name of the newspaper or site as we must refer to that for reprints.

  • Please include any relevant links in the text of the article.

  • Your contact info where relevant.

PLEASE NOTE: a minimum of 2 weeks notice is needed for all blog posts.
